Shanna Jones is a luxury international wedding and portrait photographer based in Cape Town and London. For over two decades, with close to a thousand weddings making up her portfolio, Shanna has photographed weddings in countries as far as Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Medjumbe Island, England, The Netherlands, Belgium, Lebanon, Italy, Poland, Mallorca, France, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, India, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, New York and The Caribbean.

Drawing from her ten years of working within the fashion industry, as well as stints in the world of trend forecasting, interior, architecture and design, Shanna’s photographs show a combination of dramatic curated fashion portraiture, with an authentic  documentary style, waiting for that exact intuitive moment to freeze time, she produces an editorial love story filled with emotion. 

Shanna has also dabbled in the world of photo-journalism where her images have appeared in National Geographic Traveller Magazine. Naturally drawn to objects and spaces of style, Shanna has also photographed interior and architecture for the following publications : Conde Nast Traveller UK Magazine, House and Leisure, The Property Magazine, Home Australia, Yatzer, MSN and This is Colossal.

Shanna has never met an animal she doesn’t like, and so for every wedding that she books, Shanna makes a donation to the three animal charities she regularly contributes to : SCARS, Soi Dog Foundation & Sidewalks Specials.
